Compressor: Video, Image & PDF ("the app", "we") is a utility for reducing the file size of videos, images, and PDF documents. The app works fully offline and does not require an account, email, or sign-in. All file processing happens on your device using native Android APIs.
Videos, photos, and PDF files you choose to compress are processed entirely on your device. We do not run a server. We do not upload your files to any cloud service. We do not store, view, transmit, or share the contents of any file you compress. After compression, the result is saved only where you choose to save it on your device.
We do not collect personal information. We do not have a backend server. The app stores your settings (preferred preset, theme, history of compressed files) only on your device using local storage.
Storage / Media access — required to read the file you
select for compression and to save the compressed result.
Internet — required only to load ads. Your files are never
sent over the internet.
The app shows ads through Google AdMob to keep it free. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit this identifier in your device settings. Where required, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads. Learn more in Google's advertising policy.
This app is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13.
Because everything is stored locally and no files are ever uploaded, you can clear all app data at any time from your device's app settings, or by uninstalling the app. Where required, you can withdraw ad consent and reset your advertising ID in your device settings.
Our PDF compression rasterizes pages into images and rebuilds the document. This means selectable text and embedded fonts in the original PDF will not be preserved in the compressed output — the result will be a smaller, image-based PDF. This is a known technical trade-off documented in the app itself.
