Currency Converter Offline ("the app", "we") is a utility for converting between world currencies. The app works fully offline once exchange rates have been cached and does not require an account, email, or sign-in. Your preferences, favorite currencies, and cached rates are stored only on your device.
We do not collect personal information. We do not run a backend server and we never upload your conversions, favorite currencies, or any usage data anywhere.
The app fetches daily exchange rates from a public exchange rate API (Frankfurter.app, sourced from the European Central Bank). This request sends only the standard information any web request contains (such as your IP address) and does not include any personal data from your device. Once rates are fetched, they are cached locally so the app works offline.
The app shows ads through Google AdMob to keep it free. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit this identifier in your device settings. Where required, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads. Learn more in Google's advertising policy.
This app is a general-audience finance utility and is not directed at children under 13.
Because everything is stored locally, you can clear all app data at any time from your device's app settings, or by uninstalling the app. Where required, you can withdraw ad consent and reset your advertising ID in your device settings.
Exchange rates shown in this app are sourced from public reference data and are provided for informational purposes only. They may differ from the rates offered by banks, money changers, or payment processors at the point of transaction. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy or timeliness of the rates and are not responsible for any decisions made based on them.
